TTOU: France wrap update
This time last week we wrapped in France on The Three of Us.
It has simply been the best experience of my career, and will be incredibly hard to top.
As Pascal, the producer, quite rightly reminds us all… We still have 2 more shoot days in London, and I also have a day of London establishing shots to capture.
But the feeling amongst the TTOU camp is one of sorry that it’s over, triumph that we achieved it and joy that we all worked together on this film.
I achieved the highest standard of work, with one of my finest stylized pieces, that takes place at the end of act 1. With lots of hard light and tripod shots, this part of the film is like nothing Gab and I have ever shot before. And I love it!
I want to share a few more pictures of the shoot, I wish I could share more from the 2nd half of France but a lot of what we did would spoil the story.

Thanks to the TTOU production team for the use of these images.
The Odyssey 7Q combined with the Sony FS700 have been amazing. We shot France in 2K ProRes 4.2.2, as lucky the latest firmware became available just before we set off. I plan to go into how I shot the film in more detail in following posts.
Additionally we will finally have more writers on CineResource.com, with a number of the crew writing content for the site and hopefully contributing video content for the YouTube channel. So keep an eye out for that!
Lastly, I want to point out the fantastic work by Mathew Hodgkin. His pictures are amazing and the film wouldn’t have been the same without him.
Thank you for reading.
